The Flourish Model

WHAT IS HUMAN FLOURISHING?

Although there are a variety of definitions out there, we define flourishing as a state in which all aspects of a person's life are going well. We believe that caring about employees' flourishing means caring about more than their performance at work.

THE FLOURISHING DOMAINS

In our measurement we have adopted the flourishing domains identified by the Harvard University's Human Flourishing Program. Each of these domains captures some of the most important aspects of what it means to live well as a human being. These domains and our measure have been scientifically validated in our empirical research at the Harvard Human Flourishing Program at Harvard University.

From Model to Measurement

Flourishing Metrics entered into an exclusive licensing agreement and partnership with Harvard University in order to adapt the flourishing model developed at the Human Flourishing Program into a commercially viable measurement tool. We call this the Flourishing Assessment.
